OUR STORY

ZOHAYA is where light meets modesty-created for women who move with confidence and effortless elegance.

HOW WE BEGAN

ZOHAYA began with a simple yet deeply felt frustration:

Lack of modest clothing for Muslim women in the West that truly reflected both the quality they desired and the identity they carried. We believe modesty should never feel like a compromise. Instead, it should feel intentional, confident, and refined.

Too often, modest dressing meant compromising, settling for what was available, layering excessively, adjusting silhouettes to make them looser or baggier, and ultimately losing a sense of personal style within the outfit itself. In this process, individuality and elegance were often diminished rather than expressed.

At the same time, much of today’s modest fashion is driven by fast trends and synthetic fabrics, materials that are harsh on the skin and made for short‑term wear rather than lasting value.

ZOHAYA was created to change that narrative. Founded in Washington, USA, by a family who has lived in the West for decades and understands what modern Muslim women truly need from modest wear.

DESIGNED WITH PURPOSE

Each piece is created with intention.

Our promise is rooted in three core elements: fabrics that breathe, craftsmanship that holds, and silhouettes that elevate - without compromising modesty or integrity.

At ZOHAYA, every stitch is a commitment to excellence.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

ZOHAYA is designed for me, my daughters, for you, and for our generation of Muslim women who are embracing their identity with confidence. It is for the woman who loves to dress well, who values modesty, yet wants her clothing to reflect her personality, grace, and quiet confidence. She understands that true elegance is not loud but always felt.

We design for her in every stage of life, whether she is in the corporate world, building her own business, leading with presence, attending a gathering, or simply
moving through her everyday moments. Wherever she stands, her presence deserves to be seen, not hidden.

Our Mission

Not to create clothing that "fits in," but to create pieces that create space — pieces that allow the modern Muslim woman to define her own identity through modest wear.

At ZOHAYA, we are committed to crafting thoughtfully designed clothes that:

  • Require little to no excessive layering
  • Use breathable, natural fabrics
  • Feel gentle on the skin
  • Adapt seamlessly to different settings and occasions
  • Finally, reflect the personality of the woman wearing them.

We believe in longevity over disposability. Our pieces are made to be worn again and again crafted with care so they can become part of your story and even be passed on as heirlooms.

This vision led us beyond borders. We traveled across multiple countries, searching for the right materials and the right craftsmanship ensuring every fabric and every stitch meets the needs of Muslim women living in the West.

More Than Fashion

At ZOHAYA, we believe true beauty extends beyond what we wear, it lies in what we give and uplift. As part of our commitment to community and education, 5% of every purchase goes toward funding the tuition of children in underserved Muslim communities around the world.

We believe in creating meaningful opportunities—especially for women. Across the globe, many talented and skilled individuals are often overlooked due to inequity and lack of access. We are committed to supporting and uplifting these artisans by creating pathways for dignified work and sustainable income, helping them build stronger economic independence while honoring their craftsmanship.

With every piece you wear, you become part of this mission—empowering futures, nurturing knowledge, and building a legacy that extends far beyond fashion.

ZOHAYA invites you to be part of this mission, an invitation to belong, where identity meets refined expression and modesty is redefined with elegance and intention.

We'd love to hear from you.
